What shall I render to the Lord

by SCOTTISH PARAPHRASE

What shall I render to the Lord
"How can I repay the Lord far all his goodness to me?"' Psalm 116:12
What shall I render to the Lord
For all his gifts to me?
I'll of salvation take the cup,
And on the Lord's name call;
I love, the Lord, because my voice
And prayers he did hear.
I, while I live, will call on Him,
Who bowed to me His ear.
Thank-offerings I to Thee will give,
And on the Lord's name call
I'll pay my vows now to the Lord
Before his people all.
I surrender my heart to Thee
Convert it O my Lord
And create a clean heart, Lord, renew
That tol'rate no evil.
Deliver thou my soul, O Lord
I do Thee humbly pray.
Our God is very merciful.
Gracious and just the Lord.
O Lord, Thy servant, Lord am I;
My body, soul are Thine
Teach me Thy goodness here to sing;
That I on high may sing.
