In loving kindness, Lord reveal
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and love your neighbor as yourself. Matt. 22:37
In loving kindness, Lord reveal
Thyself while here we rove;
Speak to our hearts, and let us feel
The kindling of Thy love.
Thou art, O Lord my God, the love
So matchless, pure and free,
That cannot fail to give to us
The grace to follow Thee.
Thou, by the gift of Thy dear son
To die on Calvary;
That he might save us from our woe,
Reveal Thy love for us.
Behold the first commandment thus
Exhort us all to love:
To love Thee with our whole heart,
And with our whole soul.
And in the second commandment
Another charge be giv'n
You love thy neighbour as thyself
For love is from above
Let everyone. O Lord abide
In this advice of love
That as Thy children, all the time
In kindness shall excel
